Calm Range is a small project. We don't collect more than we need, we don't sell anything, and we try to be straightforward about what happens with your data when you use this site.

What we collect

If you contact us by email, we receive your address and whatever you write. That's stored in our inbox and nowhere else.

The site uses basic analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. This data is aggregated — we see counts and patterns, not individual profiles. It includes things like your browser type, approximate location (country-level), and how you arrived at the site.

We use cookies for analytics and to remember your preferences. Nothing is used for advertising.

Third-party services

We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic. Google processes this data under their own privacy policy. If you prefer not to be tracked, you can use a browser extension like Google Analytics Opt-out or enable Do Not Track in your browser settings.

Data we don't collect

We don't collect payment information, create user accounts, or build profiles. We don't know who you are unless you email us.

How long we keep data

Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it's automatically deleted. Emails we receive are kept as long as the conversation is relevant, then removed.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, let us know and we'll remove it promptly.

Changes

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top. We won't bury the change in fine print.
